About The Role
As the Regional Vice President (RVP) of Solution Architecture, you will build and lead an elite, post-sales technical organization for our highest-value enterprise customers. The team is a core part of GTM with the mandate of transforming Cursor's strategic accounts into compounding growth engines by driving seamless deployment, accelerating adoption, and establishing robust competitive moats. In this second-line leadership position, you will manage first-line managers and senior Solution Architects, ensuring a relentless focus on long-term architecture, complex workflow design, and sustained value realization. You will also operate as a key executive sponsor, routinely engaging with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and platform owners to shape long-term technology partnerships.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and scale a regional organization of Solution Architects, guiding your team to maximize post-sale impact within enterprise accounts
- Partner with Sales, AI Deployment Managers (ADM), Field Engineering, and Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) to build a joint operating model, ensuring seamless transitions from pre-sales evaluations to long-term technical success
- Champion critical executive relationships, directly influencing the technical roadmaps of platform leaders and C-suite executives to drive account expansion
- Own and uphold a rigorous team standard, running calibration disciplines to build a top-tier technical organization
- Develop repeatable frameworks, deployment playbooks, and standardized procedures for advanced workflow design and adoption
- Channel regional field intelligence into structured, actionable feedback for Product and Engineering teams to continuously shape the platform's future
You May Be A Fit If
- You have 5+ years experience leading customer-facing technical teams (Solution Architects, Sales Engineers, Solutions Consultants, or post-sale architects) in enterprise software
- You have the ability to drive Go-To-Market strategies in enterprise software (ideally developer-related tools, infrastructure, AI, or security platforms)
- You have a proven ability to move fluidly between intricate architectural decisions and multi-year, strategic account roadmaps
- You have exceptional communication skills, adept at navigating high-stakes environments and negotiating technical strategy with C-suite engineering leaders
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for designing scalable processes and structures from scratch within fast-paced environments with lots of ambiguity
- You have a track record of recruiting and retaining high-caliber technical talent at scale without compromising quality
- You are willing to travel to customers needed
